The most frequent awards are the Brit Awards (19 nominations, 5 wins), the NME Awards (17 nominations, 10 wins), and the Q Awards (12 nominations, 7 wins). Blur received four Brit awards in 1995 (British Group, Best British Single and Best British Video for the song Parklife, and Mastercard British Album for the album Parklife) which is the highest number of categories of that award any artist has won in a single year.
In 2016, Blur has again been nominated for a Brit Award in the category Best British Group, but lost against Coldplay.
